About
The Talking Stick Golf Club, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, offers two uniquely different courses that each offer many options according to your playing skill. The Piipaash course (previously known as South at Talking Stick Golf Club), with its tree-lined fairways and raised greens defended at the sides offers a more straightforward style of play than the O'odham Course (formerly known as North at Talking Stick Golf Club).
A round of golf on the Piipaash Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club kicks off on a par-4 hole that measures 405 yards from the Black tees. Three long par-5 holes ensures that power golfers will get their kicks, with the fifth hole coming in at 516 yards, the 1fourth measuring 541 and the 16th playing to 548. The round of golf concludes on a relatively shorter par 4 that measures 323 yards.
After a round of golf on the North Course at the Talking Stick Golf Club, head back to the Wildhorse Grille for drinks and a bite to eat.

The club house is under reconstruction. There was a college tournament going on the other course so crowded

I would definitely re visit Talking Stick.

Loved the course!
Even though they are under construction/renovation, it did not detract from the course itself. Challenging greens! Great pace of play an all around a great day!
Course was well maintained
Overall pleasurable experience with the exception of pace of play. Prohibited me from finishing my round due to darkness!
It's ok
Course is pretty basic with no real character on a flat area with mostly desert trees on both sides of the fairway. Mountain views far away. Minimal bathroom access on the course, less than most and clubhouse is under construction with a temp one in place. No bottled water and hose water in water coolers on course in abundance. Beverage cart only.seen once in over 4 hours. Better courses in the valley for same price.
Course exceded expectations
Was put into a twosome which I was delighted with BUT behind 2 foursomes which slowed play 4 us. The course was beautiful & the carts were like new. I booked thru Golf Now & got a nice rate.
Talking Stick
Fun course in good shape but too expensive compared to other courses
ok, but.
Driving range closes around 1 pm every Mon and Thu. So, don't plan on warming up or practicing. Clubhouse and other are under construction.
call ahead if you want to practice
Apparently, they close their driving range every Mon and Thu afternoon at 1 pm. Never heard of such a thing at a course. I went early to practice, but ended up sitting around for 90 minutes. Had to ride with a guy who smoked constantly. Really unpleasant.
