Eagle's Nest Country Club at Pebble Creek Resort
About
The golf course at the Eagle's Nest Country Club is a scenic course with a design that calls for most of the holes to play straightaway. The course meanders through hills thick with forestry, but it is relatively flat. The large, undulating greens are well protected by bunkers and the fairways are tree-lined and some are doglegs, making shot accuracy a top priority. All of the water hazards run alongside the fairways as well. To add even more challenge, some of the greens and tees are elevated. The Eagle's Nest Country Club is open to all out of town guests and there is a putting green and chipping area.

A real winner
I got a Hot Deal from Golfnow, I only paid ten bucks a piece for a twosome. The total came to $28 and change for two people!. It was on a Sunday at 11:00 we were paired with another couple that didn't show. I thought the course was in very good condition, I had never played it before but I don't see how it could have been better. My game was not in as good of shape as the course. We didn't see anyone in front of us or behind us during the entire round. We finished just a few minutes shy of 3 hours! If my game would have been on track, I would have had to say this was one of the best rounds I've Played in quite some time.
Well kept
Very enjoyable. Very well kept. Great for locals in the off season.
Awesome Time @ An Awesome Course
Staff, Course and Game was all in awesome shape today. Highly recommend this course to all.
Solid round of enjoyment value
Pebble Creek is a solid course with basic carts. They have two 18 hole courses and I went to the west side but needed to go to the east side. Neither side was clearly marked for golf shop location or parking location. Being a beautiful retirement community, the residents know where to go. Was worth every penny, and I really enjoyed my time there.
Great features
Great features, layout but green was poor. It has been aired 10 days...
golf in Az
Great golf course.great upkeep. Sand traps could of been better.
Disappointing
Fairways very thin. In some places , green dye used to cover up brown fairways. Greens inconsistent from one to another. Course condition has regressed significantly over past two years. Comments shared by playing partners who remember it when it was kept in excellent condition.
Eagle's Nest Review
Played Eagle's Nest with 3 other people. Pace of play was very good. We started right on time and got 18 holes in before 5:40. The fairways are in very good condition and the perimeters of the fairways are very well kept. Overall a great value for the price.
Pebble Creek
Difficult to gain access to the drop area. No signs indicating location. Staff was very friendly. Driving range and practice area very nice. No bottled water. Lot's of dead brown grass on course. Greens were rough. No cart girl. Don't know if I'd play again unless it's a hot deal.
A bit of a dissapointment
While this was a Hot Deal from GolfNow I shouldn't complain about anything but, the fairways and greens were off. The fairways were half and half (half dormant Bermuda half rye). While yielding good roll from tee balls, it was a c r a p shoot as to what kind of lie you got when it stopped. Greens we ok, but yielded a lot of spike marks. Also had a late start due to frost so only got to play about 13 holes. It is tough to try and predict when to overseed so I will give the greenskeepers the benefit of doubt. Still, it was worth what I paid.
Great course
This was a really nice course. Excellent condition, greens were in really nice shape. Offered challenges and chances to score.
Course winds around the community but wide enough fairways to not worry about a stray shot going into the homes.
Nice views of the mountains on many of the holes. Will definitely come back for more rounds at this course.
Great time playing.
Course is in great shape and fair to play, I had a good time playing. Toilets are clean and accessable.
Great course
First time I have played here. The course was in excellent condition and played very fair.
Slow play
The course was nice and the greens were decent but a little slow. The fairways had not been cut in a while so I aimed for the rough since it was lower than the fairway. It should be a great course in the summer but not worth playing in the winter unless you could get out for 10 to 15 dollars. wait to play this course after the snow birds leave and the pace of play picks up. It is a short course and if you played at 3 and a half hours on this course it would be slow and we played at 4.5. we could have held a picnic between shots.
Friendly course
Very relaxed atmosphere at this course. No overly difficult holes. Very good for a game that won't leave you frustrated.
Helpful and friendly staff
Wide fairways and greens. Water and several bunkers protecting greens. Moderate degree of difficulty. Well maintained in all areas. Very fun yet challenging course.
Great course
Good value for what we paid. Great course, great location, great afternoon.
Snob-a-torium!
While the course was in fair to good condition, for the amount of rounds it must see, one Ranger can ruin your whole experience. Our group, a collection of strangers, was berated by a ranger for having 3 carts among 4 players, a rather minor inconvenience for the course. This guy should be isolated to the range cart so people can hit balls at him all day long, or some other position where he doesn't have to interact with the non-members of his semi-private club. The purpose of exposing this course via GolfNow is to attract potential new members, a crowd I would include myself into. Hearing the ranger tell another member of our group, "THEN LEAVE!", as he was explaining the reason for not dropping the cart at the turn. Thankful I only paid $24 on a HotDeal! Don't golf here, they don't want non-members here anyway!
What can I say...
The staff were friendly from the moment I stepped foot in the clubhouse and the course was in perfect shape, wish my game was the same... I will recommend this course to anyone. Both ladies in the Pro Shop were very very friendly ...
horrible outside services.
Not friendly to outsiders. My good morning was met by a grunt. The warm up buckets were 8-12 balls short of the 25 to 30 balls we were told they contained and member range rats were Scrambling to make sure they didn't go off with me and my wife, who could easily beat any one of them.
I Chose this course because 90 degree rule was in effect according to the info when booked, and was confirmed by pro shop staff. We were told that only 1 hole was CPO, only to have the ranger start yelling and waiving his arms at us half way down the first fairway, then proceed to be extremely rude about it.
We were paired with 2 very nice gentlemen (not members) that were also very annoyed with the lack of tact of the ranger. One that had played there a lot said the staff was always rude like this and I was even worse at their sister course.
After we complied with the cart path only limitation the ranger actually had the nerve to tell us to pick up the pace of our 4 some and keep up with the 2 some in front of us. This after we had played the front 9 holes in 1 hour and 35 minutes CART PATH ONLY!!!! We actually completed all 18 holes in just over 3 hours, again, CART PATH ONLY.
Course was in good shape, so kudos to the maintinence crew, but I won't go back. There are too many courses in the Surprise area that want my business and treat their customers right. This place needs to get their act together along with an outside services staff enema.
