Eagle's Nest Country Club at Pebble Creek Resort
About
The golf course at the Eagle's Nest Country Club is a scenic course with a design that calls for most of the holes to play straightaway. The course meanders through hills thick with forestry, but it is relatively flat. The large, undulating greens are well protected by bunkers and the fairways are tree-lined and some are doglegs, making shot accuracy a top priority. All of the water hazards run alongside the fairways as well. To add even more challenge, some of the greens and tees are elevated. The Eagle's Nest Country Club is open to all out of town guests and there is a putting green and chipping area.

Nice layout...greens slow
Overall a very nice layout. Staff very friendy. Greens were a little too furry from my taste. Several putts immediately jumped offline. Still a good day.
Great deal for the start of fall!
The course was in really good shape and the greens held rather nicely. The cups were a little tattered, but overall the course was in really good shape. Can't beat it for $10 hot now deal!
Good track
Challenging layout but in great summer shape. Couldn't have found a better hot deal
Enjoyable round
The course was in good condition. An enjoyable round. Friendly staff.
Beautiful course
This course is very nice, with wide open fairways and a great selection of tee box options. It is well protected with lots of sand and water that can come in to play. One negative is they have three or four nature preserves running through course that you are not allowed to hit out of. It is a one stroke penalty to move your ball to fairway. Most of these preserves parallel a fairway but one runs through the middle of the 18th hole. Just a little odd. Greens were receptive but very slow. All in all a great day and would play again in a heartbeat.
Little respect for afternoon players
Greens were nice if a little slow. Lots of bare areas throughout, which meant watering was needed, which meant turning the sprinklers on even though players were still on the course. Made for inconvenient shots as well as cart driving.
Houses everywhere
The course is woven among the houses in the community which requires the golfers to cross many streets.
Eagle Nest
Very nice course and would play it again.
Eagles nest
Good-great scenery, greens are great and fairways are in great condition for the most part.
Standard AZ Course
Eagle's Nest was a pretty standard course. Within a retirement community so most holes are lined with houses. Plays really short and easy for higher handicaps like myself. Woman in the pro-shop was super helpful in giving us the rundown before we headed out. Played in a twosome and not a soul in front of us or behind us. Nothing special about the course but got a late afternoon tee time at a great value. Would play here again for the price.
Nice course, early conditions?
Had a great round, very relaxing. Course is nice but I'm not sure if it was time of year or what but the fairways were not freshly cut, I'm figuring from overseeding. But still grass was short enough, the tee boxes were a bit long in height. The greens rolled nicely and broke as expected but were very hard, and balls bounced from 150 out off from my club. The back 9 got very slow, it was a Sunday and I expected that but I watched many times people not play ready golf. And while waiting watching people on the green take re-putts. The course is pretty flat and open so you can usually stay out of trouble. I didn't look at the scorecard, and realized later it is a fairly short couse, only 5700yds from whites. So you may def want to hit from blues, to get an average distance. The fairway sprinklers were all marked with distances and distance markers were placed in the ground. The driving range was nice, really enjoyed the exact measurements to each stick. Putting green was nice and large, but flowed to the pond!! So you could dump one into the pond on accident. I would return for another round for sure.
Great Shape week before ReSeed
Course in great shape, excellent practice facility, great customer service and can beat the price. Just hope it is as nice after the reseed, of course the price will go. Great Day!!!
dmnest
Nice course, plenty of water and well places bunkers. Each hole has its own problem spots to avoid. The fairways are wide, the greens were lightening fast and didn't hold. A lot more walking than a normal course even with a cart.
Pretty straight forward
There isn't much trouble other than sand and water. Course was in good shape, nearing overseed time, but fair and playable.
high priced refreshments
The course is OK but how do you get away with charging $5.00 for a beer when other local courses have specials 3 beers for $5.00
A great day of golf.
The course was in very good condition and scenic. Pace of play was excellent and the staff was pleasant. Thanks to the grounds keeper for having reasonable rough height. We will definitely play here again.
Eagle Nest
Nice course, but if you don't live in the area, you are very much treated like an outsider, as I was. Snobby atmosphere.
First Time @ Eagles
I loved it at Eagles Nest. Great course. Clean and great greens.
