Painted Mountain Golf Club
About
The Painted Mountain Golf Club is a challenging desert-style course with a variety of different tees to accommodate every age group and skill level. The course offers a lengthier challenge from the first hole, a par-5 dogleg right, to the last, which requires an approach shot over water in order to reach the green. The Painted Mountain Golf Club, in addition to the course, is also home to the John Jacob's Golf School.

Course needs improvements
Pros: willingness to send golfers out in a timely manner
Cons: tee boxes, muddy/bunkers, layout, price, value
Back 9 Traffic Jam
We paid for 18 holes and everything started great. Our piece of play was excellent because we were the second ones off the key box. But all came to a crashing halt as we approached the 10th tee box. We ran into a back nine tournament group and found ourselves having to wall for groups were on a whole ahead of us. Management needs to schedule the back nine tournament group and provide a piece of play that does not bring those playing 18 holes to a screeching halt.
With temperatures in the 90s, the beverage cart was nowhere to be seen. The Marshall apologized profusely, and the Starter and Cart Return folks were friendly. Unfortunately, their attitude and customer service does not make up for an extremely slow pace, play and no beverage cart.
Always love playing this course!
This is a fun course, very girl friendly and challenging at the same time and only occasionally waiting on the group ahead. Most of my pars have been on this course A great $ value which seems to be hard to find these days! great new restaurant with fantastic brick oven pizza. all around great course and great place to play.!!
No Rangers on the course
I would have given a 5 star rating except for one glaring problem. My wife and I were playing as a twosome and we had a 4 some ahead of us. We could see that there was no one playing ahead of them. They never did let us play through for the entire round, and we never saw a ranger that could have helped us with the pace of play.
Great course and staff
We played here 4 times during our week. All except 1st day were awesome.
Enjoyable golf course
We are snowbirds and have played this course several times this season, and do play it a couple times a year for the past 3 years.
Course has lots of challenges and overall a enjoyable course to play.
Looking forward to playing again next fall.
Fun course
Expensive, Range Balls not included, very tough layout. I struggled immensely and I am a decent golfer. Greens were fast and then slow, enjoyed the round but didn’t
