The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 13th and 16th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 13th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 16th hole is well protected by bunkers and there is a back to front sloping green.
