TPC Scottsdale - The Champions Course

This is a top notch course. It is directly under a very busy airport. Small planes and a few large jets fly over continuously. The greens are very smooth and quick like professional level quality. The tees and fairways were also in good condition. Of the the fairway is gravel, so the overall appearance is not as plush as the price, $250 on Thurs. at noon. There was also some major construction around several of the holes. They were mostly out of the way, but didn't add to the atmosphere. Overall a great and very playable course. It is mostly flat which was welcome after playing a couple course in the mountains.

The course was in fantastic shape! Practice facilities were good except the chipping green was closed for renovation. The staff was outstanding especially John our starter. Love the course and the twilight price. We teed off at 2:18 and just made it in before sunset. Nice rollout on the fairways and the greens were fairly fast as well, but not too fast. Overall, I was extremely pleased.

Played at 2:27pm, course was in excellent conditions, fairways were dry and running out. Greens were in perfect condition. We did have a number of holes that we waited on which maid it so we were in the dark of 17 and 18. Had we not had to wait it would have been likely we would complete the round in the light of day. All said the experience was excellent from the staff to the conditions. One complaint I might add would be that the pro shop was closed when we finished our round, would have been nice to know in order to look at some souvenirs.

We always make it a point to play this course when we are in Arizona. Always like to sit and have a cocktail after the round on the patio but was a bit disappointed this year. There was a private party and we weren’t able to be outside.

Played for the first time with my nephew; the course was in great condition, even after the gullywasher storms during last week’s Phoenix Open. The starter promised a great layout, excellent greens and a superior value to the Stadium course, and he delivered! Practice range is very good, the putting green is enormous, having plenty of holes and area for folks to focus on their own stuff. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. The refreshment cart came around at least three times during the round. We started at 2 and finished after dusk about 6:25, and one group finished after us as well. You do get great views of the McDowell mountains and numerous planes on approach to the Scottsdale airport.

This course is by far the best I’ve ever played. The fairways were in excellent shape, items in the pro shop are reasonably priced and the staff are great and friendly.

Really happy that I golfed it!

This course was the highlight of my golf trip, enjoyed the course and amenities.
