Ranch at Tonto Verde Golf Club

Course was better than great. Fairways very nice, bunkers excellent, greens rolled true. Staff was excellent. Will play here again!

I have played a number of rounds here. Both courses are always in excellent condition. The practice facilities are super and included so come early to take advantage of them. The carts have GPS with yardage to the pin. Numerous cold water stations. A good variety of tee box selections. And the pace of play is great. Our foursome played in under four hours and the longest I have ever taken is 4 1/2 hours. First class golf!

Greens were great and nice pace for an afternoon round. Layout was cool.

A lot of homes on the course but they are mostly unique and were fun to look at.

Great community and quaint restaurant.

It is a drive out there but worth it.

The course conditions were exceptional. Greens and fairways were immaculate. Rough was dormant, as is standard in the valley of the sun this time of year. Good variety of short and long holes. Course is well bunkered and shots must be executed to avoid the bunkers. The ranch course has a lot of fairways, so it isn't desert target golf, and it is fairly flat overall. understand that the peaks course is more target golf.

Great views of the surrounding mountains and a few holes that border the national forest.

I would play again, but I think it is just a little bit overpriced for the distance and experience.

Both courses at this facility are hidden gems and well worth the drive out there. We played the Ranch Course, and even though it had received a lot of rain for several days prior to our round (and subsequently was cart path only) the course was in fantastic shape. The greens were a touch slow, but that was probably becasue they were too wet to mow properly. There are several sets of tees for all ability levels, and the views are absolutely spectacular. The best part was we played in less than 3-1/2 hours!

This course was empty and we played as a twosome this weekend in 3h 45m. We could have played faster but it was nice to hit a couple practice shots throughout the round. The driving range and clubhouse are very nice. The 18 hole putting course is awesome and very scenic (like putt putt with real grass). Overall conditions were very good. Greens were good but slow (8-9?). The sand in the bunkers was excellent. Customer service was good. I enjoyed this round on the Peaks more than the Ranch. The layout is pretty easy and very forgiving especially the opening hole. The course doesn't have any wow factor but some of the views of Four Peaks and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking (especially playing downhill/east).

I'd give it a 3 on the Doak scale. It meets 8 of MacKenzie's 13 architecture principles. This is in the middle of the pack of courses that I've played in Arizona.

Woke up with the flu, had to take a pass. But I know this course is a great round of golf. Been here many times and have never been disappointed

I think this is my new favourite golf course. The landscaping is beautiful. The whole golf course is immaculate. Also, what I would call a golf friendly course. Fun to play but with a few challenges as well.

Price, course and views were terrific. Pace was terrible. Didn't get to finish 18.

Courses have spectacular views of the nearby Superstition Mountains. Layout of Peaks course is nothing special. Sand in bunkers was nonexistent. Greens rolled nicely. Good practice facility.
