Formerly known as Scottsdale Country Club, Starfire Golf Club boasts 27 holes of championship golf designed by Arnold Palmer. Located in the heart of Scottsdale, the central location makes it a popular choice for locals and visitors alike. The three nine-hole layouts, Hawk, King, and Squire, offer different sets of challenges but they are all known for their scenic but tough par 3s. You will face demanding carries over water on several of them. The King is the longest nine at 3,253 yards. Although the Hawk and the Squire aren't as long, don't underestimate their difficulty. The layouts are tight and the greens are fast. There are some long par 3s if you play from the back tees as well. The par-4 seventh hole on the Hawk golf course is particularly challenging as it doglegs left to an island green.
