Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club
About
Silverado Golf Course welcomes all skill levels of golfer, but more advanced players will find the course pleasant but perhaps not as challenging as they would like. Located next to a bike trail that runs through much of Scottsdale, the course provides excellent views. While playing, golfers can enjoy vistas of the surrounding desert landscape as well as the Camelback and Mummy Mountains. A notable hole is the par-3 18th hole, not only for the gorgeous backdrop provided by the mountains but also its difficulty level. From its elevated tee, golfers get a good visual of the hole including the water and strategically placed bunkers that surround it.

A fun course but over-priced
A good course for a beginner to an average golfer. The lack of a driving range along with other amenities one might expect for a $200 round is a drawback. Even so, overall, the course was well kept and a relaxing fun round.
My only criticism is that the tee boxes are not always level, with balls sometimes below or above my feet, concave grading, etc.
It’s not a $160 course !
Carts are a joke, no storage, no wind screen, brakes and dubious at best, Marshal was not addressing speed, cart girl was few and far between and showed at 1st hole and 17th hmm. Condition was ok but hard to judge distance and walkers and bikers everywhere.
Cool course
Very green course in great conditions. Really fun track. Marshals stayed on top of pace of play. Expensive for what it is but what isn’t at this time of year. We will definitely be back!
A tail of two nines
This was our last round of a ten day vacation. First, the green fee was a bit more than I anticipated but mostly in line with other green fees we had paid. There is no driving range, just two screened hitting areas with very torn up mats. The front nine is laid out almost like a links course, but my biggest complaint is that it is not interesting. Pretty straight holes, little visual interest. The tees are not great -- patchy grass, but the greens are very nice. The second nine is much better. Cool holes, more shot-making opportunities. The second nine redeems the course in my opinion. I shot a 76 from the gold tees so it was a pretty good round by my standards. The staff is excellent. Bottom line, I think there are better courses in the area at that price.
Nice Course - Slightly Overpriced
Had a nice time playing at Silverado club. We enjoyed the greens and pace of play. We do feel we overpaid but it might be to the Scottsdale area.
2024 Spring Break Golfing
We really enjoyed this course. It was in excellent condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The overall experience was great! It was fantastic value for this area. I would definitely recommend this course.
Nice course, but nothing more than an average club overall.
We had a 12:42 t-time on a Monday afternoon. The price for 2 players with taxes, fees, etc. came to just under $400.00. For this price, I would have expected to see carts with ball washers, club washers, and a digital course reader with distance markers & hole features. The carts were older and did not include any of these features. The course and greens were all in good condition, and the pace of play was satisfactory. We did have a small wait of about 5 min. on each hole on the front nine, but played the back without any problems. The course was perfect for our level of play, which is intermediate. The clubhouse had a small restaurant where you could grab a hot dog, sandwiches, etc., and a patio where you could sit out and eat, which was nice.
