Rancho Manana Golf Club

My son and I played this course for the first time. It is a very interesting layout. Very hilly with a lot of elevation changes, nothing too crazy just different from flat. We were paired with a nice couple that had played there before. We had a great time and would definitely go back again.

I haven't played Rancho Manana since 2022, after finishing 18 yesterday, it has to be in the best shape I've seen. From the tee-boxes to the lush fairways and beautiful greens, not a dead spot to be seen. Staff was very accommodating and friendly, Bruce the ranger was on top and attentive to the pace of play. Holes 4-9 are amazing and all signature-holes, however, we did get backed up at the par 3 9th. Made the turn and invited the 2some behind us to join and we finished 18. Tee-times later than 2pm will be a challenge to finish, but they do give heads-up before teeing off. Put this course on your list, it's well worth the drive to Cave Creek and you won't be disappointed.

Pro shop & starter great. Stacking up tee times too close together will always cause backup somewhere. Spent 20 minutes waiting to tee off on 9. On the back it was better, maybe some people quit. Course gets a ton of play evidently from the tee boxes (well used). Marshall on the course did his best to keep things moving. 3 beers & hot dog $32, little pricey for me. Should be a $90 course but it's Phoenix in the winter.

The course is affordable and a good value. It is built in the side of the hills. Lots of scenery. The pace could have moved faster. Late in the day tee times in winter will not see 18 holes.

Lots of fun and a great course. I have a physical handicap and found some of the tee boxes hard to navigate. Putting in some handrails and steps would make it a perfect experience.

Beautiful layout. Challenging course. Not too long fro white or red tees.

Have played this course before. Fairways, greens in good condition. Women’s tee boxes were in tough shape. They need attention. Remainder of course in good shape and process paid was ok for the overall experience.

Enjoyed the round. Fairways very narrow and elevated tees and green as the course winds up and down side of the mountains. Very scenic course and wood play again

This is supposed to be a ‘resort course’ aka fairly easy. That is not the case. You have to be very straight and not a long hitter or manage the course and your bag very well. It is very beautiful and as others have mentioned the views are almost worth the price alone. I ended up playing it quite well because I was on that day. But the couple we played with really struggled to keep the ball in play. Worth it for under $80.

I love this course - it is challenging and views spectacular. The Marshalls are all super friendly. My favorite course in Phoenix for sure
