Tall grass, pace of lay
I played as a a single, but there was a fivesome in front of me. I thought the courses didn’t allow fives ones. The pace was so slow that I joined the twosome behind me and later added another single behind them. Total round took approx. 3 1/2 hours. Also a lot of balls were lost because of high grass in the rough. Mostly weeds which needs to be addressed.
Horrible customer service, course conditions I’ve ever seen
The female in the snack bar was late to work and had nothing prepared for golfers to eat. The “Manager” in the pro shop argued that we did not have reservations even after I showed him my confirmation on the email. All very rude and stated that it was all going to be apartments anyways. We live in New Mexico and USED to play golf e wry year as family lives on N. 36th Street. Never again horrible service and the course was in the worst conditions. I started playing in 1992 at this course and was comparing pictures. lol was a joke.
Yikes
This course and facilities needs some help.
Carts are filthy and the bathrooms were absolutely terrible. This is the worst course I have played and definitely would not go back
Best Value for Cost
If looking to swing the clubs for a great price, there really isn’t a better option in Phoenix. When winter prices get out of control, this course allows you to get out on the greens for a reasonable price.
Don’t Bother
Close it down and start over. Even with overseeding and cart path only the conditions were bad. Tee boxes dug up, weeds growing in the rough, cart paths with potholes everywhere and greens with bare spots are examples of what awaits you. It might be cheap and that’s what you get
Rude staff reason for not returning
Used to come here and hit balls all the time. Lost my ball slip for the range and the employee was rude in assisting me for my mistake mind you I’ve gone to this place over 100 times for the range. Will be going to cave creek even though it’s not as close from here on out. Shout out to their golf pro Gordy though he is awesome!
Great course for the price with plenty of challenges for a shorter course!
Good course for the beginner or high handicap golfer
Course did fall over-seeding and is cart path only. The greens and tee boxes are in good shape. The cart path and on-course restrooms are in need of repair. It was nice to have water in the ball washers. Overall, it's a decent executive course for the beginner golfer or the high handicapper. So far, the price is reasonable for what you get.
