Acacia/Mesquite at Kierland Golf Club
About
Kierland Golf Club boasts three unique nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Acacia/Mesquite Course begins with Kierland's signature nine. Acacia features gently sloping fairways, all of which are bordered by bunkers. The last four holes are the most memorable, particularly the finishing hole, which is the club's signature hole. It is a tricky par 5 with water all along the left side of the fairway to the bunker-protected green. Along the way there are also fairway bunkers that sit just past the water and strategic mounding on the other side. It is a true accomplishment just to make par. Acacia is a formidable challenge but many would argue that the Mesquite nine is more difficult. Its par-4 sixth hole might be the golf course's toughest.

Beautiful Course
This is a beautiful resort course. Allows you to spray the ball without losing too many. Very lush. I really enjoy playing here as its green with plenty of shade. Some tee boxes don't have much shade, but other than that, its very nice.
Fun course…
Overall fun course and will definitely play again. The back nine greens were rough as they were just recently punched. Areas around the greens very wet leading to plugged approaches. But the staff was great and the beer was cold…great time.
Overbooked
The course was terribly overbooked - almost a five hour round on a Thursday! I’ve played here many times and that was the slowest round to date.
A good deal for the $
Played with a nice guy I met on the first tee.Temp was 116 started at 2pm.Price was under $60. We both we were both attracted by the price. The pics I saw of the course led me to believe it would be more intimidating the course was straight forward. If You drive it fairly straight the design makes it hard to loose a ball ( most fairways slope to the middle..Had a nice time. Play for the bargain rate if you can take the heat.
A Golfers Desert Dream
Great courses, great staff. It was 112 degrees but you would hardly notice. We desert rats can find shade anywhere and ice water was always nearby. Good practice facility and snack bar. Ray, the starter, was a really cool dude. Very helpful and friendly with a wisecrack or two about my favorite football team. I live in Tucson and this will be my course of choice whenever I’m in the area.
Excellent Course
Recommend this course to beginner players and the staff was organized and very helpful.
Poor Pace of Play
Group in front fell 2 holes behind. No marshal on course to speed up play. Pace of play was worst out of all 6 courses the played.
Wonderful AZ weather and pretty course.
Bag drop service needs a major reorganization. It is not user friendly or employee friendly. Time for a remodel that works.
Arizona Warmth
here from the midwest and enjoying warm temperatures. Golf was good and course in great shape. A couple of the par 3 tee boxes were a bit divot riddled but other wise really good shape. The greens were pretty consistent and would hold with a high shot in. Enjoyed the course and pace of play was good.
