Desert Mirage Golf Course
About
Desert Mirage Golf Course offers a public, nine-hole course and a fully stocked pro shop. The course has a traditional design but that does not mean it is boring. It is perfect for squeezing in a quick game or for beginners and kids. The course is relatively flat, but there are some hills on the course that can affect shots. The greens are medium sized with some slight undulation and the generous fairways are wide open. There are also water hazards and bunkers that come into play on a few of the holes. Desert Mirage Golf Course's signature hole is the par-4 ninth. It requires a tee shot over a lake to an island green.

Great 9-Hole
Desert mirage is a nice par 3 for the money. It has several par 4’s that let you break out the driver. Great course. Will definitely go back and would definitely recommend for a par 3.
Great facility to practice game improvement…
Enjoyable inexpensive but well kept 9 hole executive course with full service menu…great food and great staff…
Well worth the price!!
Great place for beginners
Love the atmosphere and opportunity to practice long and short game.
Great value for 9
Quick, easy to get on, good condition, inexpensive, 9 hole course that I play weekly
Beautiful Conditions
We had one of the last tee time on the books.
We were able to only get 8 holes in before the Club house told us to stop for the night.
The course is in prime conditions, and greens are great.
Some Improvement
This is a modest course that attracts mostly beginners. It is easy to play with few real hazards or OB. (The perimeter and the driving range.) Greens are bumpy, so putting gets a little randomized. And I can't remember the last time I was in a bunker. (I think there are only two greenside bunkers on the entire course.) The only real water is on #9, and now that a troublesome tree has blown down, the right side (away from the water) is pretty wide open.
A course this easy should be fast. But there is NEVER anyone out there moving play along. I've seen it a few times in the past (to no effect), but not lately.
There are two positives (besides the friendly price point). First, the staff is polite, courteous, and friendly. Without exception. Second, the problems they've had in the past with turf conditions have improved. Perhaps it's the overseeding with winter rye to a greater extent than before. But the fact is you can get a decent lie in the fairway just about everywhere.
But around some of the greens it can get pretty bare, causing shots just off the green to careen wildly into bare areas. And I still feel too much emphasis is given to growing grass in non-landing areas. The areas off the tees (on par-4 holes) and completely between tee and green (on Par-3 holes) should stay unseeded, moving that extra care and water to the fairways and areas directly around the greens.
Finally, something needs to be done about the tee boxes. They're a mess. I know, hackers gonna hack. But still...
Rough conditions - over priced
the course is in very rough condition. Contrasted by greens that were in good shape.
The course is basically a weed patch...but priced like it is a good course.
With the conditions and price...I will play somewhere sles!
Very poor condition and overpriced
The course is in very poor condition...basically a mixed weed patch. Greens were a big contrast to the rest if the course in that they are in good shape!
Way over priced for the condition of the course and with the other options available.
Excellent Facility
Just played a week ago, and all the flag placements were in different locations which made it even more exciting. The staff is always great, it rained a day before we played and the course still looked great. For the price of play, I don’t think there’s any other course that compares.
Great time
Great time on course and in restaurant afterwards. Will become a regular.
